The Organic World Congress (OWC) 2024, held 30 November – 4 December in Chiayi, Taiwan, marked a historic milestone with a promising turnout of around 3000 participants and visitors from 61 countries.

The Himalayan Agroecology Initiative (HAI) has made significant strides in promoting sustainable food systems in the Indian Himalayan Region (IHR) through a series of critical consultations aimed at developing agroecology roadmaps for Bhutan, India, and Nepal.

The 25th edition of the yearbook "The World of Organic Agriculture", jointly published by FiBL and IFOAM – Organics International, shows that the growth in area and number of farms in 2022 far exceeded that of previous years, particularly due to increases in Australia and India.
