Every three years, our emblematic Organic World Congress (OWC) is held in conjunction with our General Assembly, bringing together thousands of organic farmers, producers, researchers, advocates, and policy experts from around the world.
The OWC is an opportunity for organic and like-minded stakeholders working toward sustainable agriculture, value chains, and consumption to trade knowledge, innovations, and experiences. The congress offers inspiration and momentum to all who take part and is seen as a leading event for the global organic sector.
Meet the bidders to host the OWC 2027:
Australia intends to organise an Oceania World Congress in Brisbane to fill the void in IFOAM's influence and take a new step towards the development of a formal regional body to fulfil IFOAM's mandate in creating a truly global network for organic agriculture.

The Philippines aspires to host the OWC in the province of Negros Occidental, the first and only province with an Anti-GMO Legislation in the Philippines and the home to the longest standing Annual Organic Farmer Festival.
