We were part of the 2022 IFOAM-Goesan International Organic Expo + Industry Fair that started on 30 September 2022 and ran to 16 October 2022, World Food Day. During this event, from 1-3 October we hosted a conference for our 50-year anniversary to reflect on the past, present and future of our organisation.
We co-organised these events together with Chungbuk Province, Goesan County in South Korea, IFOAM – Organics Asia who implemented the event by providing its expertise and support, and ISOFAR who organised a parralel program.
A special thanks to Above Farm for supporting the congress.

About the Year of Organics
In 2022, IFOAM - Organics International will turn 50, IFOAM Organics Europe 20, and IFOAM Organics Asia 10. To mark these milestones, we’re celebrating 2022 as the Year of Organics!
The aim of the Year of Organics is to raise awareness of how organic agriculture can be a pathway to addressing not only hunger and malnutrition, but also other challenges including poverty, water use, the climate crisis, as well as unsustainable production and consumption.
