The European organic sector and movement is preparing to show its diversity, and innovational potential and celebrate its work on 23 September 2023, the EU Organic Day.
The movement wants to take this chance to call on its members in Europe to submit the initiatives and events you and your members/partners will be organising on/around the EU Organic Day.
IFOAM Organics Europe will give these initiatives visibility on their webpage and social media channels. Have a look at the interactive map with initiatives here, constantly updated as initiatives come in.
Are you still unsure about what you will be organising? Or about what is a ‘good’ initiative? Find inspiration:
- In the recordings of the first member-only session on our member extranet > hot topics > EU Organic Day 2022;
- On the map of initiatives (you have to scroll down on the page a bit);
- Contact communication@organicseurope.bio for questions.
Contact membership@organicseurope.bio if you have any questions about or access to the member extranet.
Check out the communications package
In the past years, IFOAM Organics Europe created a communication package for their members, to save you time and effort. This year, they will do the same and provide you with positive messages about organic and easy-to-edit templates.
They will also make these available in other languages where possible. For non-European-based organisations, you can use these messages as inspiration and translate them into your own languages.
Last year’s communications package will be updated in the coming weeks. We will keep you posted!
Do you have an initiative that is transforming food and farming, but isn’t centred around EU Organic Day? Consider submitting it to www.euorganic2030.bio, our website collecting initiatives that are transforming food and farming.
