IFOAM – Organics International is pleased to share the following important updates on the upcoming General Assembly (GA) from 5-6 December 2004 in Chiayi, Taiwan.
1. Voting in the General Assembly
As an active member of IFOAM, your vote is crucial in shaping the future of the organic movement. Members that are unable to travel to Taiwan can access the member area and delegate the vote to someone within the organization or to someone outside the organization by assigning a proxy.
More details on how to assign a proxy can be found on our General Assembly Voting Process page. Please note that a person can hold up to five (5) proxy votes.
2. General Assembly Participation
We strongly advise members who wish to attend the GA to complete the registration for the Organic World Congress (OWC). The early bird registration has been extended one final time to October 20 to offer a reduced rate for participation and allow full engagement in important discussions and decision-making processes.
3. GA Bazaar
We would also like to invite our members to take part in the GA Bazaar, which will take place on 4 December in the late afternoon. This is an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, network with other members, and engage with key stakeholders. The event will offer you the chance to:
-
Exchange ideas with World Board candidates.
-
Clarify any doubts about the proposed motions.
-
Meet the bidders for the Organic World Congress 2027.
